I don't think one can either think from the mind or from the heart; in fact, I don't think that it's possible for a human to think from the heart at all. One might think either logically or emotionally, but these thoughts originate from the mind. And one does.
That said, I don't think it's possible for the human mind to judge something in an entirely unbiased manner, either because of being subjected to a variety of opinions over an extended period of time about the same, or simply because of one's personal preferences.
In fact, many a time, the very reason we set out to explore something of the bygone era is because it's made news in its time or because it's recommended by those in the know, so we approach it with certain pre-conceived notions, depending on whether our typical mindset is all-embracing or cynical.
To cut to the chase, this other blog, Hand Signals, is going to exclusively host my reviews of any kind. These can be classified into 2 categories -
1) INspective (reviewed at the time of its release, or without any external influences)
2) inRETROspective (reviewed at a significantly later date, with possible external influences)
A standard scale-of-four rating system shall be followed throughout - no half-measures whatsoever: 4/4 (Two thumbs up) and 3/4 (Thumb up) are positive reviews; 2/4 (Thumb down) and 1/4 (Two thumbs down) are negative.

I remember telling my college -ex-gf the same thing when she asked me...whether i loved her from the bottom of my heart... i said it is not possible to think from heart...ok....so if i love her then its from the bottoms of my head not heart...well...later i figured it wasnt tat much romantic answer.....
